Undefeated x Nike [livestrong]

This year the Black/Varsity Maize colourway has meant one thing – Livestrong. The charity’s biggest project of this year has seen a swarm of collaborations between Lance Armstrong’s charity, Nike Sportswear and a host of third parties. This Air Force 1 has been designed by L.A. based retailers Undefeated. No strangers to the Air Force One, Undefeated’s latest effort features Livestrong’s aforementioned colourway and “ONYOURBIKEKID” slogan etched on to the midsole. Sadly for fans of the project, this shoe ends the Nike x Livestrong collection, with the last release taking place tomorrow, December 4th at various retailers, including Paris’ Opium and Colette.

Premier eyewear company Dita offers us a look into its latest project, Lancier by Dita, featuring a selection of the brand’s most prestigious creations. Featured is the LS.001 model in a bone and matte black carbon finish. The sunglasses boast a co-injected zyl acetate frame front with injected rubber in the nose and brow bar for added comfort and fit. Other highlights include Interchangable quick release temples constructed from high-grade titanium for a strong, light weight temple that won’t corrode, while each lens has been marked with a LAND, SEA or AIR symbol which designates its intended use. After an initial preview a couple of weeks back, we now get a full look into Married to the Mob’s footwear campaign alongside Lacoste. Using the Hironia model, Mob crafts two different colorways in the sneaker, each showcasing a lace overlay amongst metallic violet and gold bases. Black midsoles and accenting cap off the design with red outsoles and Mob’s traditional lips logo placed on the inner heel. Both will see a release on December 1st through Sneakersnstuff amongst other select stockists.

Burberry [Pre-Fall 2010]

Burberry Prorsum offer a look into its pre-Fall collection for 2010. Inspired through Burberry’s extensive heritage in military-inspired design, creative officer Christopher Bailey speaks of the collection’s inspiration and key highlights for Fall of next year.

Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey mined Burberry’s military heritage for the Prorsum pre-fall season with a battalion of weatherproof wool felt coats cinched with chunky belts, leather and shearling aviator jackets, and gabardine trenches. “This collection is anchored in history, and what you’re seeing is a roll-call of Burberry outerwear,” said the designer. “I love mixing different decades — but using modern fabrics.” He said the brand’s new social networking Web site, artofthetrench.com, got him thinking about the ways Burberry trenches have been worn over the years.

But there are soft edges, too, with Victorian elements, such as silk dresses overlaid with delicate lace and even lace-covered trenches. And Bailey easily brings hard and soft together: Wool sweaters have silky bow-shaped epaulets, while bows and ruffles take the edge off sharply tailored skirts and peplums add flourish to military-inspired suit jackets. Colors range from brooding dark greens and blacks to khaki and nude.

Jeff Hamada recently got together with the folks at Lifetime Collective to highlight three artists from the Booooooom archives by way of a very limited collection of photo print t-shirts. Included in the lineup are contributions from Kenichi Hoshine, Erika Somogyi, and Garry Trinh, marking Booooooom’s first-ever artist t-shirt collection. Fairly simple, the design features a lace overlay, inspired by French designer Christian Louboutin, within a black and slightly metallic purple colorway. KangaROOS x Sneakerness

Some of you might remember the KangaROOS sneaker brand from your childhood. The brand kind of disappeared in the mid 90s, but now the sneaker exhibition Sneakerness got together with them to work on the Slam Dunk and the Game high top sneakers. The sneakers come in white and black, carrying both Sneakerness and KangaROOS branding and of course the infamous kangaroo logo on the side. For now it is not clear when and where the sneakers will release, but we will keep you posted. The sneakers are limited to 80 pairs and should be dropping in the near future.

WTAPS [Furries Shirt Trad]

The latest release from WTaps label is this Furries Shirt Trad. Available in blue and white it features a print based on the famous quote from Alice Morse Earle. Printed button down shirts can be hit and miss, but Tet’s design is reminiscent of the Clash’s onstage stencil shirt uniforn, giving a nod to streetwear’s heritage but with a more refined approach for today’s market.

DVS x Diamond Supply Co.

DVS continues their ongoing relationship with Diamond Supply Co. with a capsule collection spearheaded by Jeron Wilson’s pro model sneaker. The collection is also comprised of a New Era cap, t-shirt and backpack all of which feature familiar Diamond iconography and color stories mixed with DVS logo work. The fitted, bag, and shoes all employ a black epi suede similar to that seen on high-end leather goods. Drops in January 2010.

Stockholm retailer Sneakersnstuff unveil images of its contribution to the Reebok PUMP 20 campaign. Taking on a Fall/Winter theme, the main ideology behind the design is a sneaker that will keep you warm and dry through the harsh weather conditions. Uppers feature a Nubuck and Wool combo with hiking-style lace hooks, interior Thinsulate lining, and Reebok Play Dry moisture technology. Adding some vibrant highlights, the shoes also boast safety orange accenting with side text reading Alltid Redo (Always Ready), which is the Swedish Scout motto.

Only 31 pairs will be released on November 20th, all equipped with four set of special laces, including a Dark Grey, Light Grey, Orange, and multi-color utilizing the same SNS pattern used within in the insoles.

Following up on their well-received collabo shirts with Todd Bratrud, COPE2, and Rime, the folks at CLOUT Magazine give us a preview of their upcoming project alongside ELMCOMPANY. Playing off their “Original CLOUT logo” and “Classic CLOUT header”, the Bay Area-based graffiti magazine create two different fitted caps, both in three subtle color options a piece. Velour is a brand that have caught my eye a lot over the last year, they are another group of Scandanavians to take the Americana preppy look and give it a classy European touch. Growing from founder Per Andersson’s vintage and deadstock business, Velour has a sense of classic design, whilst retaining a high quality with a very reasonable pricepoint. For their spring/summer 2010 range they have taken college classics like cable knit sweats, chinos and button downs and reproduced them in bright, yet subtle pastel shades, perfect for those cool but bright spring days.

Tokidoki were one of the first to do a legit LeSportSac collab, and although the aesthetic is very Hello Kitty, these dudes reside in Italy. An interesting establishment. Now they’re working with Onitsuka Tiger on the mid cut Fabre sneaker. Tokidoki’s signature characters adorn every facet of these from the sole to the lining and everywhere in between. Take this as a “wider look at the market”. We would never wear these. But hey, for a certain someone? These may be the kicks you’ve been waiting for.

Up and coming brand out of Los Angeles is VILLANY, they teamed up with QUINTIN CO. to produce a new fitted cap. Villany is embroidered on the front panel of the hat and features the LA sign in the middle of VIL and NY. Their signature finger print logo is embroidered on the side of the cap and had VLNY embroidered on the back of the hat. It comes in a Blue/Black color scheme. No release date is set but we will keep you posted when more info is available.

Waste(Twice) continue on the path of revamping the iconic 60/40 Parka with a number of new releases for this season. The brand had previously created some other versions last year while these ones are slightly modified in both the color and pocket placement department. The first delivery of Maiden Noir’s Fall 2009 collection, entitled “The Mountains Beyond” is now available at Haven. The Mountains Beyond is based on the forests of North America, and specifically a small group of mountain ranges from the Pacific Northwest. The defining piece in this season’s collection is the Wrathchild Leather Bomber. Also in this drop are some nice Madras Plaid Shirts and the Henley Work shirt. Lastly, the Quadrupeds of N. America collection is a series of tees based on the artwork of John Audubon with part proceeds being donated to the Audubon Society for the conservation and restoration of natural ecosystems.
